The City of Sails Barbershop Chorus is proud to present its Christmas concert for 2025! Join us at Michael Park School, Ellerslie for an afternoon of festive barbershop harmony, with special guests Linn Lorkin and Hershal Herscher.

City of Sails Barbershop Chorus: established in 1979, Auckland's original all-male barbershop vocal ensemble is known for rich harmonies, award-winning performances, and community spirit.

Linn Lorkin: Linn Lorkin, raised on a farm near Tokoroa, left her Sorbonne studies in the 1960s to pursue music in Europe, performing from Copenhagen bars to London’s Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. New Zealand’s first female electric keyboardist, she later played piano bars in New York, becoming a prolific songwriter. Back home, she released 18 albums on her label Rouge Records and co-founded French Toast and the Jews Brothers Band, touring internationally. Her acclaimed shows include Hey, Piano Bar Lady! She received the NZ Variety Club Scroll of Honour (2014) and became a Member of the NZ Order of Merit (2023).

Auckland Mixed Barbershop Chorus: a new mixed-gender barbershop chorus dedicated to fostering community through the magic of 4-part harmony. Built from a strong community of passionate young singers, AMBC is paving a new path in the Auckland barbershop scene. As the 2025 BHNZ Small Chorus Champion, AMBC will wow you with their sound!
