Richard joined the chorus in 2011 and took over as director in 2012. He has guided us through national competitions in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 in Invercargill, Wellington, Hamilton, Blenheim and Sydney respectively.
Before coming to us, Richard has sung with The Canterbury Plainsmen, The Vancouver Thunderbirds, and NZ champion chorus Vocal FX (who are currrently placed 6th in the world). When he isn't working hard to make us as good as we can be, he enjoys stage musicals (both as an audience member and as a performer).
The chorus members enjoy his relaxed and positive style.
